On an earlier post I mentioned that I had been in Switzerland on a development programme which I was both enjoying and felt very privileged to be part.<\/p>\n

Well, all of the hard work has paid off \u2013 it has been confirmed that I am the first person <\/strong>to be accredited in Insights Deeper Discovery…..in the world<\/strong>, so the first Insights Deeper Discovery Licensed Practitioner! Now this is a wonderful honour and a great tribute to the people who have been on the journey with me.<\/p>\n

So what is Insights Deeper Discovery?<\/p>\n

It is totally based on the work of Carl Jung, the Swiss psychologist \u2013 and one of the reasons I was in Switzerland. We were on the\u00a0shores of Lake Zurich where Carl Jung lived and studied. It is also where the prestigious Jung Institute is too. And yes, there was a link! It was just wonderful to be learning in the place where this brilliant man worked, overlooking the same lake and drawing some of the same inspiration that taking only \u2018time out\u2019 can\u00a0provide.<\/p>\n

The interpretation of the Typology that Jung identified has been developed to create a new profiling instrument that embraces the pure essence of Jung \u2013 and in a way never exposed to the world before. Andi Lothian, the founder of Insights has been the orchestrator of Deeper Discovery which is based on \u2018Archetypes\u2019. The way the model works will make coaching take on a new\u00a0 meaning and enable Practitioners to work at a \u2018deep\u2019 level with clients. This will be brilliant for individuals, teams be they \u2018intact\u2019 or not and really help organisations to step up to a new level.<\/p>\n

This complements Insights Discovery so both are stand alone but utilising both will provide a formidable combination.<\/p>\n

The picture is a peep at the new mat for Deeper Discovery, in use, showing just some of the 72 Archetypes, all in the\u00a0wonderful colours that we know from Insights Discovery. The picture was taken on one the exercises in the accreditation process.<\/p>\n

The impact I can see that Insights can have reminds me so poignantly of a quotation that always makes me tingle:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could become.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Wow…..you can see why I love what I do \u2013 it helps fill that gap.<\/p>\n
