When business leaders have been asked what they wish they had known 10 years earlier that would have made them more successful, the answer turns out not to be what most would expect the answer to be. Well a significant amount of research has been undertaken into the understanding of self. The leading authority on this is Carl Gustaf Jung, the Swiss psychologist, who died over 50 years ago. His legacy is the very practical approach of his work, whilst he was alive, and the incredible findings from his prolific works since his demise.
Indeed, a book he kept on his own thoughts and dreams was kept in a locked vault after his death. This book was eventually released by the family, the first published versions seeing the light of day in 2009 – around 60 years after it was created.
