Life is full of odd coincidences isn’t it?

I was in Birmingham, England the last week being interviewed as a finalist for the Director of the Year Award – I am honoured to be on the shortlist and the process was run in a delightful and professional way with me being quizzed by five eminent business people. On the way there I passed the statute that you can see in the picture. One I have often seen over the years on my trips in and out of Birmingham, where I worked for a time.

I have always found the city and people delightful with many aspects not fully appreciated.

Scotish insights discovered…..

I was up in Scotland a few days ago attending meetings, taking time to catch up with friends and also see some of the scenery. Sadly for the first few days the weather was not at its’ best although this did not stop me enjoying my time. On the way home I took some time out and stayed overnight in a remote spot.
